Ola S1 Electric Scooter With 101km Range Launched in India

The Ola S1 Electric Scooter with 101km range has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 99,999. The scooter is available for pre-booking for Rs 499 between 15 and 31 August, and deliveries will start on 7 September. The S1 is a cheaper alternative to the S1 Pro, which is expected to be available for sale on the Ola app from 7 September. It shares the same platform as the S1 Pro and is said to be compatible with all future software upgrades. The scooter supports Move OS 3.

The S1 is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and GPS. It also has navigation and Move OS software, which will be updated to version 3. It will have more hyper chargers and will have a higher top speed. The scooter will also have more storage capacity and a larger battery. The S1 Pro is expected to be launched during Diwali, which is a festive season in India.

The Ola S1 Electric Scooter is powered by a 3 KWh battery, which can be recharged in 5 hours. This scooter has three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports. The Eco mode provides 131km of range, while the Normal and Sports modes provide a range of 90km and 101km respectively. While the S1 is smaller than the S1 PRO, it shares similar performance. The S1 PRO also has the same claimed grade capability of 15 degrees.
