OnePlus Ace Pro Teased to Feature 150W Fast Charging
The OnePlus Ace Pro is a new smartphone slated to launch in China on August 3 and will launch globally the same day as the OnePlus 10T. This device has already received a number of favourable reviews, and it’s expected to achieve an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of over one million points. OnePlus’s live images have teased the design of the phone, and some of the images show a triple rear camera setup. While there’s still no official confirmation, the phone’s 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor are confirmed for the upcoming smartphone.
The OnePlus Ace Pro’s 150W fast charging capability has been confirmed by a recent listing on a Chinese website. Moreover, the smartphone’s Hesse and Qingwu color schemes are confirmed to be available to the public. Another teased feature is its 120Hz refresh rate display. Furthermore, the device is confirmed to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and eight-channel Vapour Cooling chamber.
In terms of hardware, the OnePlus Ace Pro has a 4,800mAh battery unit. It supports fast charging at 150W and will also ship with a 160W charger. Additionally, the phone will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, 3D Liquid cooling 2.0, and support for 5G. Additionally, the OnePlus Ace Pro has dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC. The smartphone is listed to launch in China on August 3 and will be available globally shortly after.
While the OnePlus Ace Pro is yet to be officially announced, the company has released alleged live renders of the device. The live images reportedly reveal a black hue and a triple rear camera unit with LED flash. While the renders are unofficial, they may provide some clues about the OnePlus Ace Pro’s design and specification. OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Ace Pro will feature 150W fast charging, but it’s unlikely to ship with a new software version.
In the U.S., the OnePlus 10R can reach 61% of its battery in just 15 minutes of fast charging. The OnePlus 10R can charge to 51% in just under 20 minutes, but it’s unlikely to be able to achieve this feat with 150W SuperVooc technology. This new charging technology may also appear on the next OnePlus flagship, which will be released in 2023.
The OnePlus Ace Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The new phone will have a 4,800mAh battery and support for a 150W fast charging system. It will run Android 12.1, ColorOS 12.1, and WiFi 6 as its operating system. Additionally, the handset will have dual stereo speakers. There’s no word yet on when it’ll be available in the US.
